Aston Villa are competing with Real Madrid and Barcelona for Cordoba youngster Andres Martin.
The winger, primarily a left-sided player, has shone with Segunda Division Cordoba, showing flashes of quality.
He scored seven goals in 32 appearances for the La Liga 2 side last season.
Interest is reportedly rife on the continent for the starlet, with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano and Eintracht Frankfurt all apparently keen, says the Express & Star.
