Aston Villa are interested in Wigan Athletic midfielder Mohamed Diame.
The Daily Mail says the 24-year-old has come back from injury to play a strong supporting role in Wigan's fight against relegation but is out of contract this summer.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle have also monitored the Senegal international but they are waiting for other deals to fall into place.
