Aston Villa manager Dean Smith has spoken of his admiration for Manchester United defender Axel Tuanzebe.

Tuanzebe had 18 months on-loan at Villa and could face his former team on Sunday.

Smith said, "I'd hope he'd say that 'they've got some good players, and they'll work extremely hard, and they've got a very affable manager!

"He is a terrific guy. He's got a terrific attitude, that is the thing which will stand him in good stead with his career. I can't speak highly enough of him. He was a big part of why we got promoted last season. I loved working with him, and I would like to think I helped in a small part in his development.

"I look forward to seeing him, but hopefully he doesn't play too well against us."
