Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood admits he almost became a Gooner during his playing career.
Sherwood enjoyed great success with Tottenham, but concedes he held talks with Bruce Rioch about joining Arsenal early in his career.
Sherwood revealed: "Bruce rang me and, as far as I was concerned, I was signing. I thought he was phoning me to give me a time to get to London Colney but he told me he'd been sacked!
"They brought in some guy called Arsene Wenger and he signed two players called Vieira and Petit. I was going 'who are they?'!
"I was born in Boreham Wood and supported Spurs. People think I've got a tattoo of a cannon - I haven't - but I bet the fans will sing 'Tim Sherwood's a Gooner' for at least 35 minutes at Wembley."
