Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is eager for Morgan Rogers to build on his first goal for the club.

Rogers scored in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Brentford.

Emery said: "He needs time and he needs practice like he is doing.

"Scoring and playing well and understanding our idea quickly. He is progressing and today was a really good example. Keep going, keep going. He needs to analyse deeply with the attitude he has.

"We have to get that experience, to correct it quickly and avoid it for the next matches. We are in the process. Some players are playing for the first time to be in the top seven of the Premier League and these are the experiences they need to get. We have to play being demanding and never under pressure.
