Aston Villa are set to beat Tottenham for Valencia fullback Miguel.
The Mirror says Villa boss Martin O'Neill is ready to swoop for Valencia's Portugal right-back Miguel in a surprise £5million raid.
O'Neill has been looking to solve his problem position and has found it in the player who's Jose Bosingwa's understudy in the national side.
Miguel, 29, joined Valencia from Benfica four years ago and has played a key part in their success. Spurs had also been looking at Miguel, but Harry Redknapp has been beaten to the signature according to sources in Spain.
