Former Hull City captain Ian Ashbee is expecting the Tigers to be very busy in the transfer market this summer
Hull are currently counting the financial cost of their relegation to the Championship and they will most certainly have to offload some of their high earners this summer in order to balance the books.
As a result, the likes of Nikica Jelavic, Dame N'Doye and Abel Hernandez have all been linked with a move away from the KC Stadium and Ashbee believes that manager Steve Bruce will be determined in his attempt to offload players who are being paid a fortune.
"It's going to be difficult getting players out of the club who are not playing but are being paid fortunes," Ashbee told the Hull Daily Mail.
"Players will not want to give up contracts because they are not wanted anymore. They can sit there and make things uncomfortable around the place and for the manager and chairman. If you have a star striker sulking on God knows what a week, it can cause problems.
"Moving players on will be difficult but Bruce is a manager who has got out of this division before a few times. I'm sure he knows what he is doing and there will be some movement in and out."
