Arsenal captain Mikel Arteta is confident that new signing Alexis Sanchez will 'do well' at the club.
The 25-year old Chile international joined the Gunners from Barcelona for around £32million last month and has been backed to succeed in north London by Spanish midfielder Arteta.
"[Alexis] looks very good. He's got pace, he's got that special technique, his feet are so, so quick," Arteta, who replaced Thomas Vermaelen as Arsenal skipper, told Arsenal Player.
"He's a bit cheeky on the pitch, he's got those runs, that movement, he's always on the shoulder of a defender and he wants to score goals.
"He has the right attitude here - very humble.
"He's going to do well - I think the fans are very excited and I think they are right because we've signed some player here."
Sanchez arrived at Barcelona from Italian club Udinese in the summer of 2011 and went on to score 47 goals in 141 appearances in all competitions for the Catalan giants.
