Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed how Barcelona star Xavi threw a wobbler when he asked for his shirt.

Arsenal fell to Barcelona in the Champions League in a tie which was the coming of age for Wilshere.

Despite the result, though, all was not well for one of the victors.

"I asked Xavi for his but he had the hump a bit," Wilshere told Match of the Day magazine.

"So he just threw me his shirt and strolled off. I asked Cesc Fabregas to get me Messi's because they're good friends, and he did."
