Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos is ready to gatecrash Fabio Capello's England party tomorrow night.

The Switzerland international said: "The arrival of Capello means that the England players will show even greater effort for the new manager. That will mean our defence will be put under greater pressure at Wembley.

"I know all about Wembley and a victory there on Capello's first game would go down in the history of Swiss football.

"But it will be hard because we know that England have a lot to prove after missing out on Euro 2008. I would never have believed they would be eliminated. It is incredible.

"I have seen the supporters suffering but they have great new hope because of Capello being in charge.

"But he will need time to adjust, bring in his own ideas and make England successful again."
