Arsenal's Lehmann prices himself out of Dortmund move

Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann has priced himself out of a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The Daily Mail says Lehmann looks to have lost out on a move back to Borussia Dortmund after demanding £40,000 a week. The Arsenal keeper's old club wanted him to replace injured Roman Weidenfeller and sent director of football Michael Zorc to open talks with the Gunners.

But while Arsenal were prepared to let Lehmann go, having preferred to play Manuel Almunia for most of this season, Dortmund say they cannot afford the £3million over 18 months that the 38- year-old is asking for.
