Wolves have lost Emmanuel Frimpong for the remainder of the season.
Frimpong will return to parent club Arsenal after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in Saturday's Barclays Premier League match at QPR.
He wrote on Twitter: "Bad News is that I'm out for 6-9months with my Knee. I wanna thank all the wolves fans for their support since I've been here and really Hope wolves stay up this season."Frimpong limped off in the 24th minute of the 2-1 win at Loftus Road - and a scan has revealed the worst for the 20-year-old, who was on a season-long loan with the Molineux club.
