Arsenal's long-winded interest in Schalke's Julian Draxler is unlikely to amount to anything of substance.
The Gunners have constantly been linked with the German midfielder over the past couple of seasons but have never made an official bid and it appears as though they won't do so this summer.
According to multiple reports, including from talkSPORT, 21-year-old Draxler is being courted by Italian champions Juventus and is expected to soon make the move to Turin.
It is believed that Juve officials arrived in Germany on Monday night to hammer out the details of a £25million transfer for the 15-time Germany international who is seen as a long-term replacement for Andrea Pirlo.
Arsene Wenger's plethora of players in attacking midfield positions has restricted Arsenal in making a move for Draxler who is contracted with Schalke until the summer of 2018.
