Arsenal flyer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits he's been reined in by England coach Roy Hodgson.
He has been told off by boss Hodgson for trying to emulate the likes of Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Oxlade-Chamberlain said: "I was probably showboating and he told me not to. I get that from most managers, to be honest. Sometimes I try to do too much, to take on one player too many.
"It's fair enough - I do. The manager gives you the licence to take people on, so long as it's in the right area. You don't want to lose the ball in an area where a counter-attack could be on.
"But young players are expected to make mistakes. It's how you take it. I have to listen to it, learn from it, and don't make the same mistake again."
