Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is chasing Olympiacos striker Konstantinos Mitroglou.

The Daily Star says Mitroglou's 14 goals in ten league games so far has sent his side to the head of Greece's top flight.

The striker is valued at £8million and Wenger has given a strong hint of his interest, saying: "He is a true finisher but he must try to evolve to a higher level. In any case, all the major European clubs will certainly be alert. We cannot neglect him."
