The availability of Barcelona prospect Oriol Romeu has alerted half the Premier League.
Sport says Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers are leading the race for the holding midfielder, who is tied to Barca until 2012.
But Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton have also watched the Spain Under-20 international.
Romeu is ready to leave Barca with first team midfield chances at a premium due to competition from Sergio Busquets, Seydou Keita and Javier Mascherano.
