Arsenal striker Giroud continues goal run in France's victory over Denmark

Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud scored the second goal of France's win over Denmark to keep his impressive goalscoring run going.

Didier Deschamps' les Bleus bounced back from their 3-1 loss to Brazil to secure a 2-0 result against the Danes at Stade De France in an international friendly on Sunday.

Giroud has scored nine goals in his last nine games for the Gunners and he doubled the France lead from a Geoffrey Kondogbia pass on 38 minutes.

Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette had earlier opened the scoring in the 14th minute, combining with Dimitri Payet to set up Antoine Griezmann before following up to strike the ball home after the Atletico Madrid man's outside-of-the-foot shot was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

Giroud will now return to London to link up with the Arsenal squad for the upcoming Premier League clash with Liverpool next weekend.
