Arsenal have struck terms over a £12 million deal with Montpellier for Olivier Giroud. The Sun says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger agreed a deal with French champions Montpellier for the 6ft 3in France international.
Giroud was an unused sub in last Monday's 1-1 draw with England.
Wenger has been a long-time admirer and intends to play Giroud, 25, up front alongside new-boy Lukas Podolski and Robin van Persie.
Giroud was Ligue 1's leading scorer last season with 21 goals.
