Arsenal signing Campbell targets three more years at top

Sol Campbell believes he still has three years left at the very top.

The six-month deal on the table for Campbell may make him an Arsenal player only until the summer, but the 35-year-old already has his sights on "two or three" more years of "good quality" football.

A pay cut from his wages at Notts County means less to Campbell than a return to Arsenal, the club he wishes he had never left after five years in May 2006.

He said: "You go away and you realise what a top club Arsenal is. I think both sides realised that (we missed each other). But you've got to apply yourself and I've worked bloody hard to get to this situation. It's been great, it's fantastic being back. It's like being home, really."
