Arsenal have agreed to sell their buy-back option for Carlos Vela to Real Sociedad.
The Mirror says the Mexican striker scored 16 goals in 37 games in La Liga last season but Arsene Wenger is prepared to let the star stay put in Spain for £8.8million.
The Gunners could even make a further £4million from the deal dependent on how many appearances he makes for La Real.
They could also see profit to the tune of £400,000 if Sociedad qualify for the Champions League in the next four years and £280,000 if they make the Europa League in the same period.
