Arsenal are seeking talks with Barcelona for Martin Caceres.

Caceres is currently on-loan at Juventus and has impressed in Serie A.

Tuttosport says Arsenal have already been in contact with Caceres' agent, Daniel Fonseca, and are keen to trump Juve for the young defender.

The Gunners are in the market for a new centre-half with William Gallas, Philippe Senderos, Mikael Silvestre and Sol Campbell all coming off contract.
