England manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Theo Walcott will be fit to take on Ukraine at Euro2012 tomorrow.
The Arsenal winger picked up a slight hamstring strain as he helped the Three Lions to a 3-2 win over Sweden on Friday with a goal and a match-winning assist after coming on as a second-half sub but should be fine for the final Group D meeting.
"He is fit for the game and luckily we don't have any other injury concerns," Hodgson said at his pre-match news conference.
However, he did add that he won't be taking any risks with the Gunners ace just in case it leaves his squad short.
"Whether he is a real contender for a starting position will depend upon what the medical people can tell me and how much guarantee they can give me that if I do start him he won't be leaving the field after five minutes, forcing us to have 13 men rather than the 14 I would rather count on," he told BBC Radio Five Live.
