Arsenal striker Carlos Vela is attracting interest from Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna.

The Mexico international is in South Africa preparing for the World Cup but interest in his services is gaining traction before a ball has been kicked in the tournament.

Deportivo are believed to be set to make an offer for the 21-year old with manager Miguel Angel Lotina saying that there is definitely an interest in Mexican players with Tottenham's Giovani dos Santos also a reported target.

"The Mexican market is something that interests us. They have very talented players," Lotina said.
