Arsenal are competing with Manchester City for Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel.

The Daily Mail says the defender is not just interesting the Gunners and City, with his representative claiming he is being tracked by other Premier League clubs.

"No club has approached me officially to tell me they are watching Gregory since Manchester City a few months ago," said his agent, Hakin Sliman.

"But you hear one or two other English clubs are keeping an eye on him. That wouldn't be surprising.

"Gregory is enjoying an excellent season and is playing really well."
