Arsenal reward Coquelin with long-term deal

Francis Coquelin has signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal.

The 20-year old Frenchman has emerged as a regular part of the first team under Arsene Wenger this season following his loan spell at homeland club Lorient last term.

Coquelin, who usually performs as a central midfielder, has been used at right-back recently as the Gunners experience a shortage of full-backs and had been doing well prior to last night's FA Cup clash with Leeds United where he unfortunately injured his hamstring.
