The agent of Schalke 04 winger Julian Draxler has quashed rumours linking his client to Juventus, giving Arsenal hope they can still lure the 21-year-old to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Reports are claiming that Draxler's representative Roger Witmann is currently in Italy negotiating a deal with the Old Lady.

While Witmann admitted to being in Italy, he shot down claims linking Draxler to Juventus.

"I'm in Italy," Witmann told Tuttomercatoweb.

"But I don't know anything about Julian Draxler and a move to Juventus. He plays for Schalke 04, you'd have to ask them, these are just rumours."

Arsenal have been linked with Draxler a number of times over the past couple of seasons, and these latest reports suggest they may still be in with a shot of landing the German international.
