Lukas Podolski has joined Inter Milan from Arsenal on loan for the remainder of the season, Arsenal have announced on their website. Despite playing a part in Germany's World Cup win, Podolski has found first-team opportunities limited this season. He has made just two starts for the Gunners, appearing 11 times as a substitute.
Podolski had already linked up with Roberto Mancini's side and trained in Milan today.
"He is experienced and has a wonderful career behind him," former Manchester City boss Mancini told a press conference. "He will help us and is not at the end of his career."
Podolski, who arrived in north London from FC Cologne in 2012, has scored 31 goals in 82 outings for the Gunners but has found game time hard to come by in the first half of this campaign behind the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck.
