Arsenal are chasing Atletico Madrid winger Alessio Cerci.AS says the Gunners are weighing up making an offer for the Italy international, who will be allowed to leave in January.
Cerci only moved to Atletico over the summer from Torino, but has failed to settle in Madrid.
He was a stand-out performer in Atlético's cup match against L'Hospitalet last week but does not appear to be a serious challenger to Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann for the attacking berths.
Arsenal, with injury concerns persisting for Serge Gnabry and Theo Walcott, are eyeing Cerci as an alternative.
