Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is chasing Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi.
The Sunday Mirror says Wenger would have noted that De Rossi was outstanding against Chelsea in Roma's 3-1 win in the Champions League last Tuesday.
The Gunners boss is keen to make an experienced signing in January. Wenger is determined to revive a season that promised so much and he has been assured that funds will be available.
