Arsenal are considering a loan departure for Carl Jenkinson.

The Sun says this week Crystal Palace tried to sign the right-back for the rest of the season but he does not want to make a switch to the Championship club.

Jenkinson, 20, has just signed a new £32,000-a-week Gunners deal until 2018.

But he has not featured since December and boss Arsene Wenger wants him to play more.
