Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri admits he's yet to hear from France coach Raymond Domenech over why he was ignored for his World Cup squad.
Nasri's omission was a surprise given his form with the Gunners this season.
"It's difficult but there are the choices of coach," the 22-year-old explained to Les Specialistes Europe.
"I respect them, but I also want to know why, because I hear reproach for my behaviour now. I respect the decision of the coach."
After missing the first three months of the season with a broken leg, Nasri has been an integral member of Arsene Wenger's side.
And the former Marseille man, once dubbed the 'new Zinedine Zidane' revealed Wenger had been in touch with him since his omission from the national team.
"Arsene Wenger called me and told me that things will remain the same between us. He advised me to take a good holiday and not to doubt [myself]."
