Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The Daily Star Sunday says the Gunners were put off making an offer for Cabaye after the Toon's £20million valuation of the France international midfielder, 26, last summer.
But boss Wenger remains an admirer of his compatriot and reckons he would add much-needed bite, as well as creativity, to the Arsenal midfield.
Wenger also likes St James' Park striker Demba Ba - but insists he will not make a move for the Senegal frontman, who has a £7.5m release clause in his contract.
