Arsenal the perfect home for me - Wilshere

Jack Wilshere has made it perfectly clear that he is happy at Arsenal and has no intentions of leaving the club anytime soon.

The talented 19-year old midfielder, currently sidelined until February after having ankle surgery, has eased the minds of Gunners fans by saying he is not about to follow in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas (who left for Barcelona) and Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri who joined Manchester City in the summer.

"No disrespect to Manchester City but Arsenal is the perfect home for me right now," he told the Evening Standard.

"Some players have got their price but, to be honest, that's not the way I look at the game.

"All I think about is playing at the highest level and in the top competitions so I can measure myself against the best in the world.

"I really am happy at Arsenal at the minute. Obviously, I want to win things and I want to do it with Arsenal."
