Arsenal open talks with PSG for Layvin Kurzawa

Arsenal have opened talks with PSG over a deal for Layvin Kurzawa.

The London Evening Standard says the 27-year-old is out of contract in the summer and he is open to leaving the French champions this month for more first-team football, having made just eight starts across all competitions this season.

Kurzawa would be available for free at the end of the season, but Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing him in January for a nominal fee to ease their troubles at left-back.

Defender Kieran Tierney is unlikely to return to training until March, while Sead Kolasinac has too been struggling for fitness of late.

Depleted numbers have led to 18-year-old winger Bukayo Saka filling in at left-back and Arsenal are now ready to act and bolster Arteta's ranks by bringing in Kurzawa.
