Arsenal are unlikely to sign Josh Doig this summer.

The Hibernian left-back is admired by Arsenal's scouts after a breakthrough campaign at Easter Road.

At just 18, Doig could be the perfect understudy to compatriot Kieran Tierney.

However, football.londonsays it is unlikely the Scotsman will arrive at the Emirates this summer.

Mikel Arteta is said to desire a new left-back to provide cover for Tierney.

The Spaniard was left short at the position this season following the loan of Sead Kolasinac to Schalke.

Kolasinac is expected to leave Arsenal on a permanent basis this summer.
