Sochaux's teenage defender Jerome Onguene is attracting Premier League interest.

The Daily Mail says Arsenal and Newcastle United are scouting Onguene.

The 18-year-old was born in Cameroon but has dual nationality with France and has been capped at U19 level.

A 6ft 3in centre back, Onguene has broken into Sochaux's first team and can also play at right-back.

He has impressed scouts with his strength and unruffled style and first came to prominence playing for the Sochaux U19 side which lifted France's youth cup, the Coupe Gambardella.
