Arsenal great Martin Keown has implored the club to go after Atletico Madrid star Diego Costa.
The 25-year old Brazilian striker has emerged on the radar of the Premier League leaders as they look to strengthen their attack in January.
Costa, who has been in fine form for Los Rojiblancos this season, could be available for around £32million this winter and Keown believes it would be wise to invest.
"With Mesut Ozil in the summer, Arsenal changed their policy somewhat, so do they go with big money again for somebody like Diego Costa?," he wrote in the Daily Mail.
"If he's on their radar and his fee is fixed, they should go for him sooner rather than later."
Costa is the leading scorer in Spain's La Liga with 19 goals which has helped Atletico to second spot on the table behind Barcelona on goal difference.
