Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Jackson Martinez according to reports.
The Express has revealed that the Colombian striker, 28, is set to soon join the Gunners for a fee of £24.7million after the north Londoners activated his buyout clause.
Porto president Nuno Pinto da Costa said: "He's a player we want to keep, but we cannot stop someone paying the clause.
"Jackson went on vacation and so when he returns we will try to renew his deal just like last year."
Jackson scored 21 goals in 30 league games for Porto last season for a total of 31 goals in 41 outings in all competitions.
Since he joined Porto from Chiapas in 2012, Jackson has plundered 92 goals in 133 appearances for the Dragons.
