Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla insists Olivier Giroud has lessened the impact of missing out on Liverpool striker Luis Suarez in the summer. Suarez was the subject of a £40,000,001 bid from the Gunners during the close-season.

Cazorla told the Daily Mail: "I think he's incredible. I would have loved it if he had come. But Giroud is playing with a lot of confidence. He's started well, scored a lot of goals and is fundamental for us now."
