Arsenal maybe headed to the USA this summer

Arsenal's next off-season may see them travel to the USA according to comments made by the London club's chief commercial officer Tom Fox. Fox told the club's official website that the Gunners are looking at a possible trip to the States which could occur this summer after the 2010/11 English Premier League season.

"The United States is important to us if we're going to find those new fans and engage them in the Club," Fox said.

"We want to expose this Club to as many fans of sport and football as we can around the world. One terrific way to do that is to take the team and to show that team live and in person.

"The questions is when, not if. And when we do that we will do it in a way that demonstrates our commitment to come in and engage fans in that market in a way that is enduring and that adds value to our football club long term."
