Arsenal are closing in on Barcelona's Israeli star Gai Assulin.
Assulin is a free agent this summer, and the Gunners and Manchester City are believed to have offered the 19-year-old a chance to move to the Premier League, says the Mirror.
Chelsea were also thought to be in the hunt, but according to Spanish paper Sport, it's Arsenal who are in pole position, and Assulin is keen to link up with Arsene Wenger.
The Frenchman famously plucked Cesc Fabregas from the Barca ranks, and turned him into the world beater he is today, however Fran Merida was a less successful acquisition, and has recently moved to Atletico Madrid on a free transfer.
