Arsenal make opening bid for Pedro as Liverpool, Man City contact Barcelona

Barcelona have been contacted by four clubs about Pedro's availability. The winger is weighing up his options after failing to nail down a regular start this season.

Barca are reluctant to sell, with the club banned from working the summer market. But Pedro could demand a transfer if he cannot be convinced he'll get better playing chances next season.

Sport says Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have contacted Barca, along with Inter Milan, this week.

Barca coach Luis Enrique stated after victory over Real Sociedad: "He is an important and key player. He is an example for his teammates. He trains with perfection. He is a pleasure to count on."

Arsenal have opened the bidding with a €13 million offer for the Spain international.
