Arsenal are planning a bid for Germany World Cup star Mesut Ozil.
The Daily Star says Arsenal are ready to pay £20m for Ozil.
The Gunners have been trailing the 21-year-old sensation for months.
But now, with Cesc Fabregas still a major target for Barcelona, Arsene Wenger is ready to up his offer for the midfielder.
Ozil only has one year left on his contract at German side Werder Bremen.
He told Match of the Day magazine: "The Premiership is a great league and teams like Chelsea and Manchester United are very strong.
"While the World Cup is on, I won't think about my future - but La Liga and the Premiership have teams where you can win the best trophies.
"I just need time to think. This is about the next three or four years, my future."
