Arsenal have made a loan bid for Chelsea striker Demba Ba.Chelsea are seeking £3 million to release Ba for loan this season.
The Daily Mail says Chelsea's opening offer is for £1.5 million.
Chelsea have had interest from around Europe in the Senegal international and would consider selling permanently for offers in the region of £10m.
