Arsenal have made a cheeky attempt for Chelsea defender Reece James.

In the market for a new fullback, Arsenal have approached Chelsea about a price for James, says the Mirror.

But the attempt was given short shrift by the Blues.

Along with the Gunners, James is also interesting Real Madrid.

However, Chelsea management are insisting the England international is not for sale this summer.
