Carl Jenkinson is expecting a fired up West Ham United for this weekend's London derby with QPR.
The Hammers were beaten 2-0 at Manchester City on Sunday which saw their winless run extend to three matches but right-back Jenkinson, on loan from Arsenal, anticipates a positive response at Upton Park when the relegation-threatened R's visit on the weekend.
"Our dressing room is fired up. If you go in the dressing room after the game people aren't resting on their laurels, people aren't happy finishing mid table," he told the club's official website.
"We want to kick on, we've got things to prove because we've been on a bad run recently and we want to put that right for us and the fans.
"Of course Queens Park Rangers need every point they can get but so do we. We want to finish as high up the league table as possible, after they start we had we're not just going to accept a mid-table finish.
"QPR need the points but we need to play our part 100 per cent." The Hammers currently sit 10th on the Premier League table with five fixtures remaining in the 2014/15 season.
