Arsenal legend Wright says Henry should give Liverpool boss Dalglish public backing

Arsenal legend Ian Wright feels Liverpool owner John W Henry needs to go public with his support for Kenny Dalglish.

Wright wrote in the The Sun: "After Sunday's shocker away to Newcastle, more the events surrounding the defeat than the loss itself, the forums and phone-ins have once again been flooded by those questioning whether Kenny Dalglish is up to the job.

"Yet all we've had from America, and Fenway Sports Group, has been the sound of silence. And going into such a crucial couple of weeks, that is doing nobody any good at all.

"Should Dalglish get the push? Should they cut their losses on the signings who have flopped? Or should they stick with them in the belief they will come good in the end?

"All questions being raised by those keen to take a pot-shot at King Kenny and the club.

"In my view, the Americans should stick with Dalglish at least until Christmas - and only then consider a change of manager if things aren't going well."
