Arsenal legend Ian Wright is happy to see Emmanuel Adebayor sold to Manchester City.
In his column for The Sun, Wright wrote: "There are not too many Gooners shedding tears over Emmanuel Adebayor's departure to Manchester City.
"In fact, most are celebrating the £25million sale of a striker manager Arsene Wenger clearly felt was a disruptive influence on his young squad.
"And nor should they be too upset at the news Kolo Toure could be the next to leave for Eastlands in a £14m switch if that is what he wants to do.
"But one thing should concern the Gunners faithful. And it is not the mixed messages coming out of the boardroom about how much cash Wenger has to splash in the transfer market, as alarming as that is.
"It is the fact that again their club will probably not be seriously challenging for the Premier League title. And I mean seriously. They will not even be challenging for second and third spots."
