Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has paid tribute to Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

Gerrard will leave the Reds at the end of the season for LA Galaxy.

Henry said: "We had so many battles and I always used to say to him: 'It would have been an honour to play with you.'

"He is the dream for any striker. Ask Fernando Torres. Ask Luis Suarez. Ask any striker who has played with him.

"He still does it. That through-ball along the ground or in the air is a dream for any striker."
