Arsenal left-back Tierney promises to meet disabled fan ahead of Liverpool clash

Arsenal left-back Kieran Tierney has promised to set up a meeting with a disabled fan before they take on Liverpool in the Premier League on Wednesday.

The young fan, named Cameron, suffers from Cerebral Palsy.

He will be attending a Gunners game for the last time before he undergoes significant surgery.

His mother posted about the situation on Twitter, and Tory Smith brought the matter to Tierney's attention through social media.

"I have been training Cameron for months now, he is incredibly hard working and loves Arsenal," Smith wrote.

"He has got tickets to the disability section for Wednesday's game v Liverpool and it would mean the world to him if he could meet [Tierney]."

Tierney replied: "Cameron you are an inspiration. I would love to meet you before the game. What a hero. Let's get that sorted."

Cameron's mum, Clare Taylor, then wrote: "Cameron's over the moon. I'm nearly deaf from the screaming! I'm in tears here. You guys are amazing thank you."
